Very Wierd Problem

Well,
I decided to finally put my audiobahn amp away and buy a jl audio 500/1 two channel amp. I have jl type tr seperates up front. My problem is very strange. On one or two of the stations on the radio, when the bass hits with my subs, my tweeters make a very wierd scratchy sound. This doesnt happen with cd's. I am mind boggled. Someone please help,

My guess is that you're getting some high-frequency interference from the radio stations. I doubt it has anything to do with your gear. One radio station here has a strange high pitched resonance that I can only hear in the car, simply because most factory systems don't reproduce the clarity of sound needed to be able to hear it.

I gotta agree with sunrunner_pei on this one. If it doesn't do it on the cd side of things then its not your equipment. Lee
