thats what i have in my car a single 12 m6 its just as loud as two 12s from other companies but if you are looking at spending a little less i would check out kicker, i suggest staying away from the best buy brands ie sony xplod not that they arent loud but you wont get the same sound quality out of them as some of the other companies

I suggest www.crossfirecaraudio.com They have held the worlds loudest car title for 5 years. their 1000d amp is the most powerful 1000 watt amp on the market. Their x components are being used by some of the best sound quality guys in competition today. Their subs helped the car at the shop I work at bring home 2nd place at the USACi World Finals and they helped me bring home 5th in Sound Quality at the same show. They are still made in america unlike your "name brand" sell out companies we all know. The reasoning goes on and on, but in all reality you need to find the speakers that sound the best to YOU. You are the only judge of what sounds good to you. Find all the stereo shops you can and take in your favorite cd and start pushing buttons. Peace, Lee

Ok.. well this kinda all depends on how much you wanna spend. There are those of us who are willing to pay the price and pick up high model JL's but then there are those who just dont. If you want my opinion.. id say get 2 JL 10/12 W6v2's powered by either an alpine mrd-m1000 or JL 1000/1. I love alpine decks and amps.. they are some of the best I have heard. As for subs.. im not that much of a fan of alpine simply because the best they have are type R's which are only above average subs. Thats why I suggest JL. Also.. if you dont have the cash for the W6v2's id say go with the W3v2's or the W6AE. but then if you run those.. you only need a m500 or a 500/1. As for speakers. Again.. I like JL and alpine for them both. I also like some of the old school Phoenix Gold stuff. Like the XS series... those subs kick ass and same with the speakers. But they dont make those anymore so they are hard to come by.

I've got a Alpine(CDA-9813)head-unit.I just love the alpine & Pioneer units.I was thinking of two 15"Type R's,or three 12" Jl audio w3's,or two 15"MTX THUNDER 8000's,or two Kicker 12"L-7's,or two 12"Crossfire BMF's.I don't know I've got unlimited options.

Based on my opinion and what I have seen at our local competitions, the BMF 12's have beat all the subs you have named and even some you have not. I say two BMF 12's run off of a Crossfire 1000D beat two JL W7's running off of two JL 1000/1 amps. No Joke and the JL guy was pissed. You know what JL stands for don't ya, Just Lost. LOL. But seriously, bang for the buck and more go with Crossfire they not only Sound better they perform better and leave less of a dent in your wallet. JMO Peace, Lee

Man have you heard the Fusion Jonah Lomu(fjl-1211).Man these things beat and get loud. While still maintaining a very clean sound. But,I'am steering towards the 12"BMF's.I've got to do a search again. There are a few websites that sell them for better prices than,my local shop.

I have to call the bs on you btchn. No friggin way in hell those subs beat out W7's. The only way that is possible is if they were 8W7's and even then. Honestly You would be literally blown away by a pair of 12 or 13 w7's powered each by a 1000/1

The BMF's were in a 83 olds. Two 12's in seperate box max boxes each firing towards the wheel wells running off a Crossfire 1000d. The rear seat was unbolted and flipped forward. The JL's were the 13 1/2's in large sealed boxes with each running off a JL 1000/1 in a 95 GMC extended cab. The trucks system was installed by Holdens Hotwheels in Havre Montana. I would have to look at my calander to see when the comp was but you can call if you wish, I'm sure they remember us as we put on the show. This same car is 12th in the nation for drive by in MECA. It should still be on the website. I'm not making this stuff up, Crossfire simply rules. Honestly though I couldn't beleive it as I did listen to the truck before the comp and thought it was definetly louder. We metered both vehicles that day three times infront of 35+ people. Rockford, Kicker, JL, MTX, Memphis, Xtant, Eclipse, Kove, you name it we have run against it and beat it. Sorry but its true. As Crossfire says "We are louder, deal with it" Peace, Lee

I almost forgot, if you buy Crossfire off the internet, that company will shortly there after loose their ability to sell Crossfire and you will not have warrenty on that product. Crossfire protects it retailers from internet sales as does many good brands. So be carefull where you buy from. Support your local shops. Lee
