It's Here!!!!!

My 96 grand am gt is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess you'll need to know the whole story to understand. Basically this is my first car and i bought it from a russian sounding fellow a few days ago. He said he would deliever it to my house on thursday and of course i was geared up for that. Well i got to work tuesday night and get back at 8 pm only to find out he BROUGHT IT EARLY. I swear i almost crapped my pants when i saw it because my step dad picked it out for me and i hadnt seen it yet. It was so beautiful i almost cried (ok not really but still this was a hot lookin car) I didnt end up going to bed till about 11 that night I spent 3 hours with it. I love my angel :angel1:

lol...i remember when i first saw my grand am, i hated it, i didnt even want it, but i didnt have a choice...when i brought it home my mom asked me "whats wrong" and i said i hate the car....lol...well now i feel like you do, i love my baby....get some pics of that sexy ga and you know were all here to help you out, congrats

Try growing up in a Ford family...then the best cars you owned were by Pontiac...My dad almost Disowned me when I bought the first one...lol

oh man, I have you beat, when I first saw my car, I spent the whole night in it, sometime around 11 or 12 fell asleep for about 4 hours becuase I was soo comfy, woke up, stayed in it some more then went into the house and went to bed.

That was just the first night :D

I myself just got my first car (Grand Am 'course) about two weeks ago.. and I love her. Only thing I wish is that she was stick.. but oh well =\

Now im in the process of modding the piss out of her with new brakes and suspension work.. then hopefully dropping a 3.4L in her before winter.. all in hopes of bringing up the resale value so I can buy myself either a brand new GA or one of the new Pontiac GTO's later down the road :D

see im new to this though. I have no idea what sort of mods i should put into her. I dont want to gut her or anything and i dont need anything to expensive at the moment so what should I do?

Well.. in that 'new car' euphoria you get.. I made plans to trick out my Grand Am performance wise.. but now in the past few days ive realized that I'll never get it to where I want it.. so I'll probably just do some car audio and 'classy' exterior mods (no giant wings or body kits..) when I get some extra cash. Need to save up for college.. and then save up for something I really can make perform (looking at a Firebird or a new GTO right now.. but we'll see.. maybe a Camaro since they are relatively cheaper..)
