One cold January day, I was on my way to school. There was no snow on the ground at the time so it would be fine to drive my car. I was taking 2 female friends of mine that day. Suddonly, about halfway there, there is this whiteout of snow, and the roads cover almost instantly. I'm coming up to this intersection, the light is red. I press the brake... my car doesn't slow down.. The ABS and LowTrac lights come on, we're all freaking out cause i'm braking and my car is still sliding. We go right into the intersection, still having the red light. Finally my car grips and comes to a stop in the middle of the intersection. By the grace of God there was nobody coming, and we were not hit.

I came around a corner sideways and slid about 30 feet into a ditch, it reminded me of when you see a NASCAR (hush Jay) driver slide through the infield and theres all that dirt and grass flying over them, yeah it was cool

When I had my '94 GA two winters ago I was heading home from work. It was a clear night and the roads were clear except for a few blown over spots. I was doing 55 down this road by my house when I drove through a blown over patch of snow when my car started to fishtail slightly. I didnt think much of it cuz I figured I could recover. Suddenly my car fishtailed wildly and I slid sideways into someones yard. When I got out to see if there was any damage (thankfully there was NO damage) I saw that my car came to rest at least two feet from a tree. The next day I slid into a ditch doing about 20. Needless to say I learned my lesson- dont drive like an idiot in December.

well today I almost cried.. I pulled out from work.. and this guy in this big white truck.. was coming and I was stopped at the red light.. he was messing around trying to find something I guess.. I watch the whole thing.. I started shaking.. lol cause I seen he wasn't stopping till he was VERY VERY close.. omg my heart was pounding away.. and then same thing but not as bad happened to other day. For some reason everyone wants to rearend me. I was rearended in may with my 99 GT. That's the worse thing that's happened.. was not fun!! Still goin to the chiro and such.. and have back problems..

After reading that then looking at your avatar...I laughed pretty damn hard.

The scariest thing that happened to...ummm...i was driving home after work one night at around 11ish PM. It was really cold out and black ice was everywhere. I was on the highway coming up to my exit. I gave my self plenty of time to start slowing down but it wasn't enough. I started sliding forward even with the ABS going. About 5 feet from the concrete wall divider, my car griped and i was able to steer away form the wall. After that I just relaxed and enjoyed the shot of adrenaline my brain pumped into my body. Adrenaline is VERY addictive. Whenever something happens to get my adrenaline flowing, I just sit back and enjoy it. It feels so damn good.

yikes, ok here is what happened to me in my 1990 GA LE. I was driving home from the father in laws after picking up the boys. Hubby was in the hospital for kidney stones so it was back in late 1999. Chris would have just been a newborn and Michael was just over a year old. Anyway, I was driving home and stopped at a stop sign the car was running rough and didn't want to go at all. So I sort of tried to limp it the mile home, well about 40 feet down the road I smell something burny and look down and there's smoke coming up from the center console. I was lucky enough to get the car off the raod and get both kids carseats unbuckled and just pushed them out the door and into the ditch. Mikey was crying b/c he had been pushed from teh car and had fallen...Chris was clueless and crying more from startle thank god he hadn't a clue what was happeneing. Dug out the cell phone called 911 and b/c I was in the city limits I didn't get a $500 fire truck bill. They got there and put it out and ripped the center console apart in the process. Turns out the cat was clogged, all carbed up and was glowing bright white. thusly burning the undercarriage of the car. The car was fixed and drove perfectly well other than sticking accelerators (which SUCK DONKEY!) until the trunk rusted out a year and a half later.

My 92 scared me when on ice I'd try to tap the brake and gently slow down and the brakes/wheels would lock up and I'd slide faster into many a rear end. The head gaskets were just maddening.

The 93 was fine till the engine blew.

The 94 last Halloween scared us when it overheated...overheating is never fun it ALWAYS leads to head gasket troubles!

Me and my buddy nate in the front seat and three girls in the back of the 88. SNow storm on our way to shoot some pool. THe road was coverd, and I was ****ing around with the ebrake all night. Took one corner too fast and plowed through a 3 foot snow bank right into a field, ran over a small pine tree. Then instead of stop and get stuck in the field., I flored it and drove right out of the field through the snowbank again, only under this part of the snowbank was a stone wall. Got back ont he road with dented floorboards, new 9 gallon gas tank instead of 13 gallon, (thats a big dent) and a very restricted exhaust pipe. Continued on down the road to play pool. The girls thought i did it on purpose and I really didnt care. Its not that scarry but it was cool.

That would be April of last year. I was leaving from my first ever GA meet up in PA. I didn't really feel like driving back home 4 hours the next day, so me and the friend that came with me left around 11:15. It was raining the entire way. I had paid the toll in Baltimore and gone through the tunnel and I then hydroplaned (was in a hurry and had my cruise on...I learned my lesson). Those damn goodyears, well you guys know how much they suck. All I remember is the car swerving, screaming to my friend to help me. The last thing I remember seeing was the nice concrete barrier straight in front of me. Next thing I remember, we were on the left shoulder with the car facing the appropriate way.

Luckily this happened at like 2AM, so there wasn't much traffic (thank God). One lady stopped to see if we were ok, told her yeah, which is about all I could muster at the moment. I remember shaking sooooo badly. Before we even got out of the car, I was imagining the worst...mirror torn off, entire side black instead of white, etc. We got out of the car after a minute and look at the passenger side of the car. For a minute or two we couldn't see a damn thing wrong and we were baffled. Then we looked a bit closer...a little bit of paint on the front bumper in front of the passenger wheel was scraped, the lip of the rim was deeply scratched up, tire had some welts on it, and alignment was wayyyy off. I couldn't believe it....we did at least one 360 degree turn, not sure if there was more or not. So my dad and I took it to a shop and the only other thing was a bent strut. Talk about lucky.......

And tonight I had a bit of a scary moment. I was diagnosed with having mild TMJ (clenching my teeth for some odd reason), so the dentist prescribed me a mild muscle relaxant. I didn't get much sleep last night, plus the relaxant didn't help. So I was leaving class and at the stoplight its a bit of a steep hill, then it lowers, then flattens out. Well not being too aware of it, I'm goin pretty fast and when I turn left, my car started sliding to the right towards a curb. Luckily I did all the right stuff perfectly, straightened it out, and tried to calm my heartbeat down. Now all I can imagine is my passenger side wheels hitting the curb straight on, car flipping....etc. Talk about stupidity!!

This past April, driving back from Canada after Spring Break, n a week after the accident I was in on my way up cuz of the snow, it slowly starts to flurry n then it was sticking on the NY Thruway. My friend was driving his 4WD Explorer, n he radioed to me if it gets bad, let him kno n we'll pull over. Soon I could barely control the car, n I was flipping out cuz I was still a wreck cuz of the week before's accident, n I just kept imagining myself losing control of the car n going right off the cliff. So we pull off at the next exit n slowly drive around to find a place to stay for the nite, but no1 wanted to stay in any of the cheap motels, so my friend said we'll stay at Lake George, which was another 25 miles away on the Thruway. I was in tears, n the whole drive was just absolutely horrible. I was afraid to go above 20mph.

2nd scariest thing was driving home at like 2am on the NJ Turnpike in the rain n for the 1st time ever, I hydroplaned. I was doing about 65mph when it happened, n I had a huge 18-wheeler next to me. I tried to think back to driver's ed, n all I did was grip the wheel real tight, took my foot off the gas, n prayed. The last 20 miles on the TPk home I didn't go above 50. It was barely even raining, more like a drizzle, but the road was real slick.

Oh, n of course there's all the times when I'm stopped n I check my rearview hoping the car behind me will decide to stop too. :roll2:

The day I passed an old Civic...I thought "That could have been me...." *shiver* :nervous:

Seriously I'd have to say when saw the dear flying across four lanes of traffic towards me. I slowed down a lot, but still hit it at about 20 MPH...cracking the headlight housing and curling a small part of the hood. :(

For me it was in my brother truck coming home from North Dakota, we were in Montana I was driving as my brother had been taking a nap to drive through the night. Well I was crusen about 60 and a two line road. One lane for on-coming traffic and one lane for me. My brother was just waking up pushing in the Cig-lighter when I saw a sign Construction a head so I slowed down to 50 coming over the hill.

As I came over the hill I saw 2 semi's racing, one in on coming lane where it belonged the other was in my lane headed straight at us.

My words were Mike that **cker's in my lane. Mike looked up and froze, we were so close he didn't scream, reach for the wheel nothing. Luckely there was a large flat ditch area there as it was a big hay field. So I dove for the ditch. Dam bouncy at 50 MPH.

I got back on the road, my brother tride to smoke his cig, but was shaking so bad he put it out. At that point I was fine shooken but ok, Mike just shook. A couple hours down the road we stopped for dinner, about the time my buger got to the table it all set in on me. I tried to pick up the burger but I was shaking so bad the lettis and pickels were falling out. I couldn't eat at that point, so after a few minutes we got back in the truck and headed for home.

That was the only time in my life I seen my older brother frozen in fear.

I was coming home from a party and I was in no contition to drive, so Phil (one of my friends) drives me home in my 95 and no on was on the road cause we wernt on a major road yet and I am mently gone and he puts it into N and I notice it but dont think much of it. Untill he mashes down the e-break throws the steering wheel and we start sliding sideway and he over corrects and we start sliding the other way, hit a patch of gravel go up on 2 wheels but not at a very high angle and the car stops and the driver side slams down. and we are in a ditch, but no damage was done to the car(no visable damge any way).

so this one night at 1 in the morning im racing a friend on a two lane street, we hit speeds of 90mph, and all the sudden it appears to be someone j-walking, by the time we came, the homeless was caught in the middle of both of cars while both my firned and i swerved to the side of the road almost crashing into the curb, this is was the scariest thing that ever happend to me cause if we hit that guy, no doubt about it, he would have died, then the question would have been, hit and run?....or stay?....til this day i dont know what i would have done....the only witness would have been my friend....anyways thats top on my list of being the scariest...

I was going to two a day practices and my friend was in the car i was going up the off ramp pretty quick. The road was totally wet and I hit the brakes and couldnt stop. I had a red light and i knew I wasnt going to be able to break in time so I told him were going through. WHAT A RUSH! I know what you mean about adrenaline because I went right through the intersection and back onto the interstate. Got off at the next exit.

Here it goes...

There's this stretch of road through a residential area on the way to work. It's about 1/4 mile from light to light. When the first light turns green, it's a matter of seconds for the last light to turn red. Every morning I race (or used to race) these lights. One morning I'm racing the light as usual, doing about 75mph on a 35mph when this old lady on what looked like an old escort runs a stop sign and crosses the road right in front of me. If I'd been going faster or if I hadn't noticed the car in time, I would have hit it smack in the middle of the two doos, maybe killing the old lady. When I saw the car crossing I hit the brakes hard and lay on the horn. What does the lady do? STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I remembed the low trac light coming on, the car kinda fishtailed a little bit and I stopped about 2 feet from her car. That was a close call, too close for comfort. Since then I don't street race as much as I used to. At least not around residential areas or any roads with intersections along the way.

i was driving down the freeway . the car had a sever pull to the left so you had to hold on with both hands at all times. Any ways
I was driving and a huge spider started climbing down from my sun visor and right in front of my face. im not scared of spiders but this 1 was big and ugly, and i coud not take my hands off the wheel and he just hung there in front of me. finaly i got a chance to pull over, threw him out of the car and steped on him.

Ive also blown a tire and rolled a car, now that was scary.

Yea, my driving skills suck, inless im racing lol

It happened last winter I was here in Utah and we have some scary canyons to drive through. Anyways I was driving up my canyon and there was alot of snow on the ground I was going abot 35 in a 50 and also pitch dark. I was about half way through the canyon and all of a sudden there was a bull elk right in front of me and I dont know how many of you have had deer in front of you I am sure you have had a lot but a bull elk is ten times larger so I slammed on my brakes and the low traction and thing came on the i swerved off the main road and by the time I stopped I thought that I was going to hit something when I stepped out of my car I got out and was only about 2 inches away from runnig into a barb wire fence the only damage was that my tire hit a large rock on the sidewall and made it go flat that is why i thought that i hit something that night sucked after that driving on my donut.

I was rearended on Easter two years ago. Stupid lady wasn't paying attention and she skidded right into me. Lucky I gassed about 2 second before she hit me or it would've been worse. Unfortunately, she fled the scene and I never found her.

The worst thing was in early January 2001. I was coming home from my cabin in Maryland after a ski weekend and there was a big snow storm coming that sunday. My dad made me leave for school (bastard). So I'm driving along on route 68 in W. Virginia in my dad's Chrysler 300M with summer tires. There was a good 3 inches of snow on the ground. Was going 35 mph up a hill and I lost traction. Car went left towards the grass median that had probably a foot of snow, or more on it. I got scared and tore the wheel to the left. the tires caught, but the whee; was turned too sharply. The rear wheels lost traction and I did a 180 into a guardrail and then another 180 into the side of an Explorer. Everyone was fine and I drove the rest of the way home petrified and pissed off. Car still isnt fixed. :D

I guess when I was racing this tricked out 318i in my SC/T down a crowded street and when I wen through the intersection doing about 75 (in a 35) my car hit some major air and went airborne for a second or two... don't know really how long, but it scared the sh*t outta me. But I smoked the 318.

And when I had to make a sharp turn across traffic into my neighborhood in my old SE and didn't turn it enough to miss the curb and snapped my front wheel axle..... that was pretty scary too.

Oh yeah, this wasn't my GA but when I flipped over my first car, a 90 Corsica....... you get the idea.

Hydroplaned and did a 360 on I-95, luckily it was late and not many people were out. Wasn't much damage, but the alignment was way off, plus a tire that had welts all over the sidewall.

And just recently I had almost forgotten to take an exit, when I turned my wheel to make it, I ended up doing a 180 through some grass and the car finally stopped back up on the exit. That was during a car meet that I hosted here in Richmond in February. I was just a couple feet away from hitting the exit sign and evidently another bare post sticking out of the ground.

I haven't wrecked mine yet....but a few months ago I was headed to work and the guy in the other lane coming towards me had his hood latch (aka bungee cord) snap and his hood flew up and smacked his windshield. I pulled around to see if he was ok (he was) and tied his hood back down so he could go to work. It was really freaky to see that hood fly up on him right as he went past me at 65-70mph.

I drove mine to the abandoned Greystone Asylum a few town over from me. That's pretty scary.

No accidents or near accidents, though.

The only really scary thing was in my Cavalier....

I was driving home from school, and there are two cars in front of me. The stupid idiot chick driving in front slams on her breaks for no apparent reason. The kid in the middle hit her car with such force that it actually got air, and actually moved backwards. Me, in the back, was like "Ummm...." and spun out onto a guys front yard in time to just screw up my front drivers side headlight.

The actual accident wasn't really that scary. I didn't have time to be scared. The aftermath was, when I absolutely sure the kid in the middle (a freind) was dead by the looks of his car. He got out without a scratch, just really, really, really pissed off.

Worst part was, if I didn't know the cop who responded, I would have screwed harder than anything. NJ Law pretty much unwaiveringly says the person in back is responsible. The cop explained to me that, going by the book, I was responsible for the whole accident (somehow...), however, since I knew him he reported it was equally everyone's fault. I liked how I was barely invovled in the accident, yet it would have all been my fault....

I would have to say the scariest thing would have been when my power steering went out and then my engine died so my car had no power so I didnt have steering control and my brakes wouldnt work and i ended up going off the highway into the air and down into the ditch into the metal highway divider.....

not in my new GA but the reason I ended up having to buy a new car....OK so It's two years ago my first weekend at College( Kettering University) I need to run home early to do some stuff, so I get up at 5am and I start drivin home, I run out of chew and have to drive without it. Then my amp overheats and my radio shuts off and I wind up fallin asleep at my exit, I crash through the exit sign barrel roll a few times and land on the roof. I woke up while crashing through the exit sign, and I didn't get hurt, so I crawl out the window and there is my Beautiful 87 silverado with only 70,000 on it and freshly lifted, crushed up like a tin can. I was very depressed. Anyway thats the reason why I bought a GA, although there was a free beater car in between.

Was coming home from golfing with a couple friends and on the road that my street comes off of and Im in my car alone and my other friends are in my best friends car and they were ahead of me,no more then or less then a car lengths back, going 45,the limit and i see this car backing out of their driveway and theres a small tree line on the right side of their driveway, obvisouly an obstruction for them so they keep inching their way towards the road, well they see my friend and they stop but they don't see me,don't know why,i wasn't more or less then a car lengths away and swereved really hard to the left, going into on coming traffic but luckily there was no car coming when this happened,i swear i saw a quick flash of bright white light(this was during the day, afternoon) and my heart was pounding and I pulled into my driveway where my friends were already there and they were like cheering and stuff saying how that was the best act of driving skills they've seen someone do and im still just freaked out cuz i was nearly an inch away from getting hit. They pulled out of their driveway like a bat out of hell and they were obvisouly behind me but they don't follow me to my house to even say their sorry that they almost freakin hit me and everytime i pass that house i get nervous.Prolly the worst episode ive been through,it was deffly more scary in person, this was just a month or so after I had gotten my car in '02

It's winter and I live in a subdivision where by the time the plows get to my area the snow is melting. There is an intersection directly at the bottom of a hill. I was comming down that hill. When I tried to stop i started to slide. There was a Ford Explorer bareling down the cross street. As soon as I realized that I wouldn't be able to stop, I guned it and yanked the e-brake. My back end slid out and he missed me by INCHES.

Scariest was actually in my Mom's Buick Century a few years ago. I woul dhave been toast in my GA, but my Mom's car had some good pickup, suprisingly. I was on the interstate and passing a semi (about half way past him) when he turns on his turn signal and about 1/2 a second later starts to pull into my lane. There was a car 4 or 5 car lengths behind me so I didn't want to slam on the brakes, plus its dangerous to be stopped or really slow in the fast lane regardless. I gun it and pull over as far left as I can with the tires just on the edge of the asphalt. I barely cleared him. I knew if I went off the asphalt, I was done, too cuz that car didn't handle worth a shiat. I got up to near 100 mph before i was by. I definitely got the addrenaline rush.

i had just purchased my 2001 gt silver and we,my wife and two dogs, were going to the lake. we enjoyed the day and left for home. it was dusk and my mom always says " watch for deer ". i laughed like i usually do and proceeded to head home with splinter, one of my two welsh corgis, on my lap when out of the shadows of dusk pops out not one , not two, but three deer. well needless to say i said a few choice words, slammd on my brakes and swerved to the right then to the left, missing the first one and nearly hitting the second one. the head of the third one hit myright rear 1/4 panel and maid the slighteset thump sound. i rolled on doen the road about a mile or two to let my nerves calm and stopped to check the car out. it was fine.......now when i leave the lake i drive 35 not 60 and i watch for deer.

I'm gonna say spinning several times into a guardrail at highways speeds, while in a post-all-nighter caffine-induced daze. (new drum brakes locked on left side and put me in a spin) Totalled a GA car worth $8,500.

Pics of the aftermath...

oh boy lets see....well the 1st scariest thing that happened was back in...february or march...when i got into my accident with the front bumper. I was coming home from a friend's house going 91 South and it was our last snowstorm and since my tires SUCK big time in the snow...i spun out and i fishtailled and began to do a 180 when i hit this van that was coming along side of me. well the damage was bad enough that i need a new bumper ( i bought from Ebay :D i just found minor problems from an aftermarket) and....
the second SCARIEST THING was jsut like a week ago or so...when Bibi, Chris and I were goign down to E. Bridgewater...this guy in a truck was doing like 45 on a 65 mph highway....i was in teh middle and Bibi braked all of a sudden so i did too and my car WASN'T stopping so im like ooooh sh!t...when i stepped on teh brake i didn't feel my ABS at ALL! so i think my dad did suttin to my ABS or soemthing..i dont know how that works but anyways...if there wasnt anyone in the left lane i wouldnt crashed into Bibi and my car woulda been totalled....

she would have crashed into bibi, i would have crashed into her and the car behind me would have hit me. it would have been one big pile up. i guess that was pretty scary.

yes that would have suck katie and chris is if I caused a pile up cuz of the dick only doing 45mph on a 65 mph hwy.but we saved us and our cars very well I think

I'd have to say that the scariest thing that happend to me was when my rack and pinion was going bad...I knew something was kinda messed up, so I made a dealer appt. to get some warranty work done. It was a few days before the appt, so I was still driving the car. There is a very slight curve to the left near our house, 35 mph sign. That was when my steering locked and I wasn't turning....I was going about 45 or so at the time and crammed on the brakes and ended up a few feet off the road about 3 feet from a phone pole. I started it back up and made it home, but the steering was WAY out of whack. Needless to say, I didn't drive it anymore and made the dealer pay to tow it in to get it fixed. It didn't damage anything, but my trust in the car was gone at that point. However, they fixed it right and it was like a brand new car after the repairs. That was a scary ride though. I've been through times when idiots made me avoid crashes, but when your own car fails and you have no control, thats scary!!

ok the scariest crash (if i would of crashed) would of been in my 93 cavilar. I was on the I91(in ma) it was 11pm and it was in the middle of winter and it was snowing out. the speed limit on the highway is 55mph. i was doing about 65mph(driving like a dick!! in bad weather) and there was a car infront of me going the speed limit or a little slower. so i put my right single on and go into the right lane. at when i'm right in the persons blind spot the person starts to go into my lane i was like wtf...so i guned it even more and all i was doing was pelling out. so i just slamed on the brakes and got out of her blined spot. and the person almost hit me.....thats what i get for speeding on the highway and driveing like a dick...i really don't drive like a dick anymore b/c of this....

Hahah.. i would need to change my shorts after that would happen...

I think i have ya'll beat but then again i didn't read them all. heres the story

I was driving up to school one evening and i was following an expedition at about 70mph... So he dicides to slam on his breaks and I didn't notice untill it was too late... I slammed on mine and veared off on to the grass median which coincedentally has metal polls line up all over the freaking place... I thought me and my car were screwed and were going to smash a sign going 50mph... Well if you guys didn't know this before but our cars are actually quite good rally cars LOL. I weaved in and out of every freaking sign(5 of them) without hitting one decelerating from 50mph. it was my luckiest unlucky day. After that i had to change my shorts.

I can think of 2 stories where I was freakin out in my GA.

The first is the night I bought it....It was nice out all day, and I was so excited to have my first brand new car. I bought at a dealership about 2+ hours away from my house. We ended up leaving late after visiting people in Sacramento. On the way home it started pouring down rain, so totally paranoid because it was pitch black, pouring down rain, in a new car I'm not used to driving and I wasn't totally familiar w/ the route to get home.

My second story happened a couple of months ago. I was driving to work and traffic came to sudden stop where 2 highways merge. I came very very close to the car infront of me, but did not hit them. I looked in my mirror and all I could see is a huge dodge durango coming at me. Luckily for me, he veered to the left to miss, but hit the cement barrier and almost rolled. I'm glad they didn't roll, or who knows what would have happened.

I was driving home from work today just cruizing along, then a red '99 civic coupe with projector headlights comes flying up in my rearveiw. I recignized the car as someone I know from one of my classes. I wanted to race this guy cause he says his car is fast and performance wise he only has an intake, and a shitty looking (and sounding) exhaust. I let him pass me and get a little bit ahead, then I was going to go for my pass which I know I could have pulled off, but we were comming up to a curve in the road I know my car can't handle over 90mph and I was already pushing 105mph. I decided to back down because it was too dangerous. Either side there are guard rails, to the left it's a double guardrail and then the other direction of the road. On the right side you have a guardrail and a short cliff that goes down into a housing development. Back to the story.....I let my car come down in speed so I could handle the turn and the civic continued to get ahead. He was almost 1/8 of a mile away and I saw his rear end starting to give out. His rear end was swerving back and fourth for a few seconds and then the car took a 90 degree turn and the front of the car rammed right into the guardrail on the left side of the road so I slammed on my brakes. I felt my rear end start to give so I thought that was it for the GA. I grasped the wheel tightly with both hands and swerved between the Civic which was on the left and the guardrail on the right and then I hit the accelerator to straighten the car out. I stopped and made a u-turn and came back to the scene. He was in shock. The airbags popped and the front of the car was a mess including his fancy new headlights. He was allright, but he was very upset about his car. There were two other people that stopped for him so he didn't need me around. I left shaking the whole way home thinking about what could have happend.

The night I lost my 01 gt on my way to work.Driveing in the dark going a good 55 or a lil more and a deer smacks right into the left side of my car. Then spins around and gets under the car and pretty much took me for a less than fun ride I had no control of.

About two months after I got my GA I spun it about 90 degrees on a canyon road. I managed to keep enough control that I didn't end up leaving the road or hitting anything at all, but my heart was certainly pounding.

I had my GA for 3 days, was showin a friend of mine the car, Was doin bout 80 down a city road (no cyclists aloud). I followed a side road that branched off the main one, and just as i got in the one lane side road, some moron on a bike just turned out infront of my car. Slammed on my brakes, swirved hard to the left, ran into the curb, and the cyclist turnd a little bit at the last second and his handle bars put a big dent and scratch from the front passanger side door, bcak to the rear quarterpanel. The cyclist didnt fall off the bike and was about 2 miliseconds away from death, but he rode off. I was white as a ghost.

last night i got in front of this guy in a truck, he then barely clipped my tail end coming around me then proceeded to cut me off, so i flashed him. he slammed on his brakes forcing me to lock mine and swerve off the road, luckily my turn was up so i got in the turn lane as i went off the road. he stuck his head out the window to get a look at me. then sped off. i was still pissed about forcing me off the road that i flashed him again, this time causing him to pull a u-turn right through the median!!

he then followed me down my side road and turned around at the round about and went back on his way.

yeah i was scared, only cuz he owns a truck. i hate ppl who think theyre so bad ass drivin big trucks and all, thikin they own the road

it really is time to open a can of the street racer stigma, but i'll leave that for someone else.

my scariest moment in the GA wasn't so scary, it went down like this, I'm driving in CT trying to change lanes when my passenger side window shatters and my car spins 180 degree up onto a curb, i didn't even have the time to soil the ol' boxers, the scariest part was when i was sitting up on that curb and reality was setting in, even then it was more disbelief then fear

My scariest experience did not happen in this GA - I owned another on 14 years ago - a white 1990 GA. I just bought it, and it was about 3 weeks old. I took it on an open stretch of road, and opened her up. I got up to about 90, and forgot that there was a nasty curve in the road, and it had just started to rain, so the ground was slick. When I stepped on the brake to slow down around the curve, all four wheels locked up, and the car kept going straight. I hopped the curb, went through the wet grass, went underneath the boardwalk next to the road, and wound up in the sand inches away from the ocean. The car was stuck in the sand, and all my friends had to help me push it out. I took the car home, and to the body shop the next day. I bent the frame, and it cost me $600 to fix. We were lucky nothing much worse happened. I still get scared thinking about it.

my scariest moment was when it was just done raining and i was on the intersate came to a stop for bumper to bumper traffic. when i looked in my rear veiw mirror to see a chevy suburban not stopping and blasting me in my rear. for sure i thought the rear of my car was totalled. butr come to find out there wasnt even a scratch. his suburban? the grill was smashed, bumper bent, headlamp broke. thanks god for the 4" styrofoam bumpers. lol
