I bought this car about a month ago while I was living in Las Vegas. The power was pretty good up there at 2100ft. Now I moved to Carson City, NV (30min so. of Reno) where its about 4700ft elev. Lost a lot of power up there. Now I am visiting my folks near Oakland, CA (sea level) and I cannot believe what kind of power this thing has. I gotta be careful tho cause I might get myself into some trouble. I find my self looking for races everywhere I go around here. For the first time, I got to really floor it down here and now I am really in love with this car. So in love, I might just move back down here. Just thought I'd share it all with you.:notworth:

ahhhhhhhhhh I was in Las Vegas in July, GREAT GREAT CITY!! I am going again next summer. But tell me, what does elevation have to do with how much power your car has?

The lower you are, the higher the atmospheric pressure and the denser the air. Denser air means higher oxygen concentration and more oxygen means more power.

Just as a rough calculation for every 1000 feet in elevation you can roughly loose up to .18 of a second in the 1/4 mile.
