Hey, guys!! I am a normally cheerful person, but today is an exception!! I am just thankful to live in a country where not only can I afford to buy a car, but to buy one that I love and not just settled for! Every time I walk up to my new Grand Am I feel myself smiling inside and out. Ironically my 2k3 GT1 was made on my birthday, which makes me love it more because I ordered it as a b-day present to myself, but had to wait until Jan.20 to pick it up becase there were no 4dr blk. GT1's in stock. I have always owned a Pontiac and always will have at least one in my driveway. I was wondering how you guys feel about your cars, and if there were anymore interesting stories to tell. ;)

Well what I love the most about mine, is that, when I come outside on the parking lot (at nite) , I just look at the car and how the light shines off, and I just fall in love with the car every time :)

Wow, I do the same thing! What color is yours? Mine is black and they really look good at night, cleaned and waxed. I have had a lot of people compliment me on it. My neighbor liked it so much she even bought one recently!:D

I love beating the piss out of my grand am as a field car and then putting it back on the road. I love my fiero, and I love my w41. Can someone please put on some Barry Mantello for me and my cars.

the thing i love most about my GA aare the bright ass headlihts. i put in the Sylvania Silverstars and they are sooo damn bright. if u looked at my car from head on it would look liek a brand new car...(well just cuz of the headlights) i also love how my stock hubs look at night right after i washed all the brake dust off and gave it a good washing. they almost look like rims(a couple pple actually asked me if i had rims on) they are so shiny :)

Yeah, the thing I really like about grand am's is that its a "family car" but looks aggressive as hell, and that helps alot insurance wise.

I always wanted a Grand Am for as long as I could remember...So when I was shopping around for a car I wouldnt settle for anything else. When I saw her for the first time I fell in love...then when I drove it i was totally hooked. Ive had it two years now and I still love it as much as i did when I first saw it...its by far the best car ive owned. And shes sooo perty! I love the way she glistens in the sun...:P

Always like the Grand Am's from the time my grandfather had his 1990
Figured out my favorite thing about my car this morning though
I love how I can go out first thing in the morning, she never gives me any greif when starting up no matter how cold it is, and how the windows can be fogged over, i can crank on defog and about a minute later when im ready to go the windows are clear...never had that in the Camaro, its nice that the defogger works :D

I bought my '97 a little over 2 years ago and soon after found out it was a salvage. I'm still deciding why it still rocks, if it was the person/people that salvaged it, or the fact that it's a GA... Either way, it's got balls like nobody believes! My friend has a 6-cyl Monte Carlo and my little 4-banger can toast that car! My parents want me to sell my car before it goes down the crapper, but I don't see that happening...I'm going to love my car until the day the block cracks or some other major problem comes up.

Pontiacs are da bomb! I will always own at least one. I just stand there staring at my car for a few moments everytime I get out of her or before I get in..... she is my second love (a very close second behind my husband).
Now I kinda getting irritated when I am driving around at night w/ the neons on (or even during the day) and people just stop and look at my car while standing in the middle of the road. I'm like "Okay people..... I have places to go. Please stare at my car from the side of the road, thank you." I get that mostly from the kids of the neighborhood but sometimes the adults do it too.
I had one girl come up to me as I was getting out of my husband's Alero and I had the GA in the driveway with me with the car cover on and she said "I love your car" So I said, "Which one?" (the Porsche was also parked there by the GA) So she pointed at the GA with the car cover. Then she said "Is that your car? Can I have it for my birthday?" I kinda stood there for a moment and pointed at the Porsche and the GA and said " These two cars are mind and no, I'm sorry. I am really attached to both of them." Then I told her to tell her mom when she was old enough to drive to buy her a Grand Am. I thought that was so cute. :)

To be truthful, I love the way my grand am looks and how my reflective white vinyl overlays shine at night, but all this car has done is cost me more money. GM is god awful and knows these cars have window regulator problems, yet still do nothing to fix it. Two windows alone have cost me $800 and i haven't even had the car for a year yet. If I had to do it again i'd go with a reliable car. Other than that it's a sweet ass car

Not my car of choice but its the car I got and even though it has enough problems I'll love it (until it costs me an arm and a leg just like most GM products do in a couple years time!)!
