HELP, which should I get?!

I can either buy a whole sound system for 400 bucks, a fosgate 1 farad cap, 2 guage wiring, 2 12" subs, huge 12" box, and 1000 watt xplod amp or I can get my shifter installed and streetglow gold series neons... which should I get?!?!?! arg.. I dunno..

Get the system. You'll enjoy it much better unlike the lights which you can only enjoy at night when the popes ain't around.

I agree with Mike... the system will give you MUCH more satisfaction... but, don't get the xplod amp... sony = shit no matter what anyone says

yea, get a better amp, and you dont need the cap really, they arnt usually worth the money, and for wire, you will only need 4 or 8 gage with that kind of system.

I had this problem a while back and I just decided to put the money in the bank, I am not a audio god so I realy dont notice the difrference in ok subs and realy good subs, so when ever like best buy gets a sub kit in for like 200 then I will get it, but there is no reason for me to shell out > $500 on a system that wont make that much difference thant a 200 system.

the thing is... it WILL make that much of a difference!

the lower quality you go, the less clarity you get... the less clarity = shitty sound and thumping. If you're going to get a system, but you don't have the money to start out big, just get one really nice amp, and some shit subs and a crap box. Then, later on, when Circuit City or a reputible car audio shop has a sale, get better subs and a better box... but, that's just my :penny:

I decided neons. Since its only going to cost me 230 and thats with install for street glow gold series w/ lifetime warrenty. Get them on Wednesday.

I wasn't thinking totally. I had to have my shifter and my spring installed on my car so with the install I wouldn't have enough money for the system anyways.

I couldve got you SGG for 140 u should have come up here. and I would have installed them for free. I know how to do it and what do use to install it.
