View Full Version : My GA's in the shop...again...

Lately I've been hearing a loud ass hiss coming from the Intake manifold like its leaking vacume or something along with a rough idle and cruddy gas milage. So I was poking around under the hood and found the leak, the UPPER intake manifold gasket (aka Plenum gasket) has gone bad. Extended Warrenty to the rescue I wont have to spend a dime and I get a brand new (1700miles) Cavelier LS Sport to beat on for the next day or so.

Does the Cavelier have the eco? If so how is the power?

The Cavi. has a ecotec in it it would be faster if it was a 5-speed but it isnt bad for a 4-cyl Automatic but it is still pretty peppy. Id probly get one with a 5-speed if I was looking for a car.

eww Cavelier i could just :puke2: all over thoes stupid cars. i have always dislike the Cavelier. and i will never own 1 in my life or drive 1.

how much did it cost?

Well it ended up being the Injector O-ring on the #6 cylander leaking vacume at the manifold so it wasnt covered under my powertrain warrenty so it cost me $350.00 alltogether. But I'm not pissed cause my warrenty has allready paid for itself twice over :D
