i was just corious how many miles you guys have on the original 2.5 engin.

118,000 miles with hardly any trouble

160,000 one transmission, alternator, and a new clutch

i have about 160,000 . also did you have to get an tranny rebuild ??? if so were you racing or did it just go bad ??

A while ago I really didnt know a whole lot about cars and stuff, and I still dont know a whole lot. But somone told me that a standard transmission didnt have and fluid so you didnt have to check it. So one day we were on the highway and i couldnt shift out of fith gear, so replacd master and slave cylinders and didnt help at all, so the guy told me that the transmission did not have any fluid at all, there i a little dip stick that was completely covered up so i never saw it, luckily my father in law just had one in his backyard and it worked just fine
