i want to drop in a 4 speed transmission from a 1994-1995 grand am does ant one know if i will be able to put it in???

as long as the tranny is from a 3.3l engine! the 92-95 GA's are pretty much the same.

there isnt a 4-speed tranny only 3 speed auto and 5-speed manual

will the 5 speed fit on the 3.3 v6 without major modfaction??

the person to ask on that one is Graden I believe. He did the whole thing by himself I think the only mod he had to make was the flywheel

yes a munci 5 speed will bolt up. and yes a custom fly wheel will have to be built as the are none avail. I have no idea what this will cost as i have a friend whos dad works in a machine shop and did 1 for me free af charge. I am ready to post in the fac section for how to do this from step 1 to keep your eyes opend for it.

If we share the same block as a 3800 should'nt those 4 speeds bolt right up to a 3300?

I have herd .. but never tryed ... that yes a 4 speed tranny from like a z34 lumina, regal grand sport or grand prix gtp will bolt up to our blocks with little modding... mabey some thing to try in the future

i think this could work because my 3t40 is going in my GAGT and i asked my machanic if a 4 speed would fit and he said well its to much work so im guessing thats a yes but dont want to charge me to much labor i guess . Witch is good but i think ill be lookin in to this come summertime
