I just cant stand AAS rear facia, it looks like a riced out kit becasue of the back, thats why ive always been an AED guy myself. htough this kit looks nice, though the GA has got to keep its ribbing, it looks too much like an alero without the ribs

Not a bad kit at all. I like the front. Not sure about the sides, I hope they atleast make a door filler panel to match the rocker panels. The rear isn't bad and the spoiler is tasteful.

Kit looks alot like the American Tuner, which I like... I like the kit so far cuz it keeps alot of the features of the GA but just exagerates them a little.

I don't like the other kits cuz they destroy the original look of the GA and turn it into their own.

I like the Andy's Auto Sport kit but it's just too drastic for me.

It's funny how everyone is talking about the Rockers on that concept, whether they like them or not... it's obvious those rockers are styrofoam taped to the sides, they probably aren't even supposed to look like anything yet... my guess is they are just getting a fitting measurement. They are completely squared off, no design to them yet.

Actually this is pretty much exactly like the GXP/HotWheels concepts we all saw awhile ago. I really like how this kit came out...if it wasn't for the "project" that I'm working on right now I'd probably have to pick myself up one of these.

Now I wonder...is GM going to be releasing the American Tuner kit? Or having them contract RKS for this version of the Hotwheels/GXP pretty much it?

It will be contracted much like ASC making the SC/T kit. Dealers will begin carrying these kits soon. I'll keep you all updated with details as they become available.

it's been said that rksport only makes kits in urethane...if that is true....doesn't that mean that the kit wouldn't need any body work done before painting...except minor stuff?

The front is nice except for the fact that it does not accomodate the fog lights. They seem out of place there.

As for the sides, they have no shape to them.

Is the rear going to show the frame of the car like AAS does?

hood, 350 then goes up to 450
wing, 250 then goes up to 350

the pre-order sale last until mid-December. After the kits, hoods, and wings come in, price will go up.

from what i was told, the pre-order ends as soon as the kits are in but they are estamiting mid december.. the foor door kits look to be mid january.

OK...you beat me to the punch cause I have been working with RKSport to get all the logistics worked on for us, you have some of the basics and some inaccuracies so here is the rest.
The group buy will last until Dec.15, 2003 after that you are out of luck, what you will get is a chance to save some major money and get one hell of a product.

Body Kit:
This is for the four door only; all pieces will be out of polyurethane,
this will include the front and rear fascia, side skirts and body panels. The kit will be available in mid to late January and our price will be $800.00 and then it will go up to $1295.00. Shipping to the east coast for example will be approx. 120.00

Hood:
Made out of re-enforced fiberglass, it has a functional ram air design and will be a direct fit bolt on. The hood will be available in beginning to mid January as well. The price for the will be $450.00 and then go up to $595.00. Shipping to east coast for example will be approx. $110.00.

Wing:

That is a good point, but IMHO, that body kit is ugly, the side skirts littrally make me want to barf...and aed flows so much more than that, in the front end, GAs arent made to be boxy in the front end

and maybe it would help for me to see a painted version....

OK.... for those of you who are not able to get the money up in time for the deadline for the body kit, wing or hood I have another option!!

I am working on a deal to extend the offer out to all of those interested for two more weeks. The only way that this will happen is if your name is on my list. If your name is on my list then you will have two more weeks ( Dec.31 ) to pay for the stuff. I am waiting for confirmation for this arrangement and will know for sure tomorrow if this will be a go.

In order for use to show them our spending power I also need to know everyone's name that have already bought a kit, wing or hood and when you bought it so I can add you to our list.

i talked to the guy that the rk site said to talk to about GA questions emailed him several times he told me to preorder, it would lock me at 800 bux, and i wouldent have to pay untill it ships (in jan) i have the whole conversation saved if you still dont believe me ill email it to you... n/m... believe me or not i dont care, he told me what he told me... it seems like there is interest but the short notice is the hold up i was just tring to help those that are in my same position... sorry wont do that again

I received clarification on this and it pertains to credit cards......they will put a hold on the funds but will not charge until the kit ships so you are not paying interest on the charge.

OK you guys and gals….I have some bad news…….The Rep at RKSport made a mistake. Free shipping is NOT included, but never fear, I told them due to their mistake there would be some mad people if I let this one roll. The manager agreed that if we get enough people on the list to buy then he would reduce the shipping costs by a percentage based on how many people sign up.

Now for the big dilemma, there has only been ONE person that has committed to this new kit, wing or hood. I was able to get us an extension on the prices to the end of December based on whoever put their name on my list before next Friday or bought a kit. But so far like I said above this is not what is happening. I found a picture of the 4 door kit. I already ordered mine. I talked to the rep today. This kit looks alot better in this picture than the paint job on the GA on RKSport's website. I like the white on the car but what's up with the black on the hood.

the hood (and wing) are completely carbon fiber. That picture is of the concept design which was the base for RKsport. The rksport kit has a few minor different edges. The lines on the hood (rksport) are the parts that they didnt paint. I like it actually and plan on ordering the hood too :)

I am trying my best to keep this extended but I think I pushed it as far as I can go. We will see as the end draws near......I WILL TRY AGAIN!!!!

I want to apologize for this miscommunication from them, as you all know I have tried to keep you all informed of every movement with this buy but there was a major break down on this one. The two door kits will begin shipping in approx. one week if everything goes to plan.

Alright, because of the communication error with RK I have spoke to the higher ups and I can get you taken care of on the hood, spoiler or two door kit at the pre-buy price but just until Friday morning. This is the drop dead time, if you want in on these you MUST GET AHOLD OF ME ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Update on 4-door RK kit. I called and talked to Mike this morning. He said that they are having a problem with some of the door panels not fitting properly and they don't want to start shipping until they get the problem worked out. He said it could be as long as a month, but for me to keep checking back, if could change.

I like the kit as well. I think it looks really good. Its not one you see everyday either like the AAS or AED , not saying those are bad kits at all but its like everyone has them. Personally I think the members here with those kits have done an awesome job on their cars
