Ok i read the thread someone posted about the Jet Chip and everyone described all these diffrent Computer mods.
What i want to know is where can i get it done and how much does it cost and how is it done (i.e. do i send in the unit which disables my car)
Also what can i expect performance wise from this mod. Horsepower increase , Torque increase, will i need a drag chute installed:flamedevi

The best bang for your buck would be the ASE reprogramming. It requires you to send them your PCM, although their turnaround time is quick. Expect to be unable to drive the car for 2 weeks. Check out http://www.asechips.com for more info. :)

Seeing as how you're about 5-6 states away, FedExing your box to them (which is recommended) should provide a turnaround of about 7 days, maybe less.

The Jet Chip is good for about 8HP it says up to 10HP. It is something that is noticed right away. It has a light bar to indicate how many adjustments are being made. When you floor it, it lights all the way across, 1/2 throttle 1/2 lights. It gets rid of 100% of the lag between 1st and 2nd gear. My car now chirps second gear. I have the APOC CAI and it even makes a deeper sound when on. You can be on a dead stop and floor it and then try it again with it on and the 5 guys who road with me all knew when it was on and when it was not. So it is not just a mind thing. You don't have to run but 89 octane when you use it. If you know you are going to take it easy for a week or two you can go back to 87 so that is a plus. I costs $200.00 new and about 130.00 if you can find someone selling one. It takes about 45mins or so to hook up.
