Window regulator-helper spring?

Yesterday i replaced my window motor in my car and i got everything back together and it works. When i went to shut my door i heard a thunk and i think that the regulator spring fell off! I'm wondering if it's ok to just leave it without the spring on instead of having to take it all apart again? Also if it just helps out the motor i have a lifetime warrenty on it. Please help! :???:

IMO that motor is stressed enough without loss of the spring. You know that GM didn't provide any unnecessary parts.

I would go back in now, especially since something else might be loose.

Even tho you have a lifetime warranty, if it fails you have the fun and labor of going in again at that time.
