View Full Version : Steering Wheel Woes

I just bought steering wheel radio controlls for my '97 GA. I know that I have to take off the airbag to mount them, but should I be worried about screwing the airbag up? Is it just the bolts holding it on and a wire plug or something? Is there any chance of it misfiring while I'm working on it? Should I just hand it over to the dealership for installation? Can I ask any more questions?:???: Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.:D

Grab a repair manual it will tell you how to disarm the air bag system.

I have a Chilton's (the big, general one) and it doesn't even mention the air bag. I guess I'll just go get the '97 GA specific one if I have to...
