I was looking all over the internet for solutions for my stock CD player. My display worked but had no light (some would say it did'nt work).
So anyways, I tried switching the little light with the one in my friend's cassette player but when I compared both, I actually found that the problem did'nt come from the light. (my bulb was not burnt)
So without removing whole CD player, just the front panel by disconnecting the flat cable I did check the soldering and actually did'em all. Tonight I decided to take a ride and took me probably 5 minutes to notice that my display was working fine!!!
:D
Also solved a problem with my doors locks. They would unlock but not lock. Was a pain in the butt 'cause when you stop the car all the doors unlock so I had to lock'em 1 by 1.
Fixed it by accident by cleaning the fuse panel that was full of crap.:D
