Does anyone have nos on the 2.5 or know what size of nos the engine can handle?

if you get a kit and want ta test engien, im willing to let you put it on mine first. I tired blowing her up today, NA style, but to no avail, after a few mins of bouncing off the rev limmiter, I just dropped it in gear in hopes of breaking an axle, no go there either. Huh, ohh well now i want a 100 sot of nos to try and break her. just for fun.

yeah redline neutral drops, i wason tar/gravel/mud at different times. No tire smoke. I can lite them up, but not when its bouncing off the rev limiter, it really isnt at peak power then. I(ll have to try like 5400 rpm, it would hel to have a tach, to deystroy my engine.

I can spin mine just by pulling the e-brake and stomping the gas.

roll backs are the best get going like 5-10 mph in reverse, throw it in neutral rev the shit out of it and drop it in drive. the momentuim from rolling back plus the high revs, will break the tires free on any car, and smoke em up good. Not so healthy for the tranny/axles/engine but whatever. Thats why god invented wrenches.

thought I'd get back to stuman2.5's original question...If the engine is in good shape (not ever really abused or beat on) I woldn't be afraid to put as much as a 50 shot or so. On stock internals no matter what engine it is, I wouldn't do much more than that. I'm only doing a 35 shot from my NX. If your looking for an even smaller shot which might be a little safer on an older motor like the 2.5, I'd look into NOS's Sneaky Pete system. I'm not sure the shot it has, but I'm almost positive it's like a 26 or 30 shot...maybe smaller.
Neutral drops.....oh boy....lol Not my cup of tea, thats for sure. With mine, if I hold on the break and bring up the revs and just before I release the break I put the gas to the floor, I can usually get a little chirp form the tires. On smoother pavement, like concrete, I can honestly do this and get a fairly long burnout....no smoke though, just a nice black mark on the ground and some ear peircing tire screeching. :D
