i recently removed my cat converter an put on a straight pipe. I have been wanting to do it for a while but no shop would do it cuz its illegal, but since we dont have to get our cars tested for emitions or whatever. I finally found a shop that would do it for $38. I was like hell yes :D but anyways i started up my car after doing it an it sounded a lil louder not much, untill I pressed the gas :D it is soo loud !!! before i did it i allready had a big fat 4' OBX R muffler, but that wasent very loud at all :( thats when i removed the cat. I also saw a nice gain with what i did to the exhaust.
