Welcome to the boards!
As far as underbody lights I would definately look at your areas custom audio store. I'm not really to familiar with them. But from what I understand Street Glow Gold Series are a nice light.
As far as the lowering kit I am aware of 2 nice kits. 1 being Eibach and the other H&R. The Eibachs are available from www.partsforyourcar.com. Both sets are in the $250.00 range.

If 200 is highest you want to spend then thats perfect. StreetGlow Gold series has always been good and one of the best.
Next is the Plasmaglow neons, I have heard they are actually brighter than SG gold series, no confirmation yet but im buying some Plasmaglow to confirm later on.
Next you have the Plasmaglow single color LED underbody kit. Good thing about LED's is that they are pretty close as bright as SG and they dont fade with wear. Are much more durable and you have a controler you can make them strobe, scan, etc.
go to www.oznium.com for the PlasmaGlow. to get StreetGlow your local dealer or www.thezeb.com has good prices and the only online company that I know of that actually gives you a warranty and doesnt send you broken tubes and leave you high and dry.

I but leds on my car and hated them! There not even bright, plus the whole flashing thing is illegal. You see each individual bulb on the ground. There horrible. I took them right off and put a neon kit on. I think mine are optix and they work great. My dad has lite glow on his truck and there good to. And if you're spending 200 then you got screwed. Mine were 150 my dads were 130. I dont know if you have an Advanced Auto Parts by you, but that were I got mine. They are really easy to install too.

This might be different between the states, but all forms of aftermarket lighting are pretty much illegal. You're not allowed to have any colors other than red, white, yellow, ivory, or one other shade of either red or yellow on your vehicle. Of course, LED's arent illegal in themselves because you can legally have red Euro LED taillights. The police just didn't want anyone putting flashing red or blue lights in their cars, much less strobes, but then along came underbody FX, neon license plates frames, and LED washer lights, along with tire valve flashers and interior neon sticks and wires. Sure enough the cops found somethin else to pull us teens over for. Meh, ok, that was kinda long-winded, but there ya go, in case anyone's interested.
On topic: get StreetGlow series. I have/had their fog lights, underbodies, plate frame, and sprayer valve lights. They make some good stuff.

Yea, well up here in alberta canda, they changed the laws stating that all underbody lights are now illegal, damn, anywho, I still keep mine and GENERALLY! that cops stay away, heres a couple of pics and these are street glow gold series and if you install it right, you should not see the bulbs at all. I must tell you though, these pics are taken at sunset, so they arnt very bright at all, at night they are dynamite.http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=153889 http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=153898

stock 2001 ga se. LEDS are more durable and they can flash if you want them too. But like i said before instead of having a "flowing" affect of light, you can see each individual LED light shinning on the ground. It's really retarded looking, and they weren't very bright. I would just go with the neon tubes, don't even bother with the LEDS..

Did you aim the tubes out or directly at the ground??? I have the plasmaglow LED fusion kit and I don't have that problem. If anybody is thinking about Plasmaglow, just be aware that you may get a defective control box. I had to send mine back and get a new one.
For springs, go to tirerack. H&R's are like $210 shipped.

Sounds like a bad install. LEDs (when installed correctly) will shine a lot farther out than neon will. watch this video (http://iceman.draepi.org/gap03/originals/MVI_1763.AVI) and you'll see a car with green LED underbodies installed a few seconds in.. that are pointed straight down and look like crap. They should look like:

SC/T - PG neons are brighter than SG, seen some pics, I like em better :agree:
Springs - h&r all the way :)

I have to agree I have had 2 led kits now one just standard green and I just got a set of multicolored led lights and they are so much brighter than the tradition neon kits. But you do have to adjust the lights proberly. You can not see the individual bulbs on the ground when done correctly
I'm going to buy some soon, and I was wondering which ones were the best. I've seen a lot of different opinions on the PlasmaGlow and the Street Glow. Which one really is brighter?
on Oznium.com, they have the PlasmaGlow Single Color LED Underbody Kit which is $166.99, and the PlasmaGlow Platinum Under Car Kit, which is Neon I guess, instead of LED for $139.99. There is also the Street Glow SG-201 which is at sounddomain.com for $149.95. Which would be the best buy, under 200 dollars, that would give me an insane green glow?

Stay away from LiteGlow and LowGlow, the products are poorly made and it's impossible to get support.

All true. I got my liteglow from a third party and it didnt even have a register card in the box so I couldnt register. So when One of my 4 ft tubes broke I had to buy another but I could only find and three and I had to put it on just right to make it blend in. They werent horribly bright but really. dont even think about getting liteglow

Damn, I had no idea LED's could look so good, I always thought you could see the individual bulbs. Thats saying, I honestly have been EXTREMELY impressed by my SG gold series, they have been through a ton of punishment and always they stay bright as ever and they havent yet broken, even with huge ass ice chips! believe me, its winter in canada right now and it aint fun, just ran into a light post today and still the damn things work, gotta love paying the extra money for quality.
