I installed a CAI in my 2001 GA a few months ago using the civic way and a cone filter from Autozone that goes with the intake tube. I cant seem to find any place local to buy a danm K&N.
Anyways, the problem. I thought Id check the filter out while changing the brakes and found out the filter got wet a few times from rain, what has be confused is that the side of the filter that has gotten wet is the side facing the tire and not the side facing the running light which I thought most of the water might get in.
Anyone know how the hell the filter is getting wet on the tire side? Any ideas how I can stop it?
Autozone has a cone shield that covers the filer execpt for the bottom and Id thought about getting it but wont that end up just makeing the whole CAI as worthless as the stock aitbox?
