50% on the front two, and 35% on the rear three. Gotta love Massachusetts laws, but it still looks good.

I got 5% on all side windows and 20% on the rear. I love it. I also live in FL and no one gets harrassed for their tint.
The legal level in FL is 35% in the front and 20% for the rest.

i put 18% platinum all the way around with 35% on the windshield on my girlfriends car. it may be only 18% but its equivalent to about 10% dyed. i've got 50% ( i think) on my windshield, but it's highly reflective, 18% platinum on my side windows and something around 4% on my back window in my truck. you can barely see in either one of them during the day unless it's extremely bright out. and on an overcast day or raining you can't see in them.
33% fronts, 5% back/rear :)

5% all the way around, I haven't gotten stopped yet (I've heard stories), in michigan anything is legal for the back, nothing is legal on the front except for a 4" strip across the top. Cost me $225 for the job but I have a lifetime warranty & they got the job done in an hour.
If you get tint, make sure to spend a little extra money and get the metallicized tint, supposedly it will help to curb the fading (the cheezy looking purple color old tint turns), and it also deflects a lot more of the heat.

you're lucky if you haven't gotten a ticket.:P my dad finally changed his front windows after about the 5th ticket. i would actually be scared of a tint job completed in an hour. not knocking your tint guy, but the guy that does all of my work takes about 3 times that long. it took him right at 3 hours to do my girlfriends GA, but his work is so close to perfect. i've inspected it trying to find something wrong with it but can't. metallicized tint is the only thing i use anymore. although Llumar just came out with a black tint that won't peel, bubble, crack, or fade.

35% sides, 20% rear $160 with lifetime warranty.
Shop around for prices, because NO tint job should cost $200.

the one on my truck cost $175 and i paid either 240 or 260 for my girlfriends. but the tint is 100% metal. does your lifetime warranty cover the tint or the workmanship of the installer? and if it does cover the tint what exactly does it cover? the words "lifetime warranty" can be confusing. my lifetime warranty covers the tint and the labor. if ANYTHING goes wrong with the tint job it's covered at any Llumar dealer in the US.

Both tint and labor. If it starts to bubble and look like ass in a couple of years, I can bring it in and make them redo it.

what about if it turns purple. i'm not doubting you, but usually a tint warranty won't include stuff they KNOW is going to happen.

I've got 15% all around on the Altima, and none yet on the GA. I'll get at least 15%, though. Any lighter and it wouldn't look right on a black car.
