Alright. I will be completely honest with everyone here. I dont know anything about LED's, and I have researched a little(read other posts), and i am still not getting it. So someone who does, help me out here. What I want is to tell you what I want in the car, you tell me what Id need (size of LEDs, kind of resistors). I have a 99 GA SE, 4 doors. So Id need to change 2 door lock buttons, and 4 windows, and the ETS, or no? My car is not here right now so I cant go check. But if someone could just flat out tell me what I would need to get, it would help me alot.
Also, does anyone know how to make my speedometer glow green? I hate the red...I dont know why but I cant stand it anymore. Same with the HVAC controls. I basically want to change all the red-lights, except the emergency. Please help tho, thanks alot everyone.

I believe most have use a 3mm led, as for the resistor, that will depend on the LED itself, some are made for 12V applications, and other's you'll need the resistors for.
http://www.linear1.org/ckts/led.php go there to figure out what size resistors you'll need.
the only way to change the color of the guages is to get a new guage face overlay or replacement guage face. ProCarparts.com has indiglo overlays, PFYC.com has replacement faces (don't know what colors though).

Hey!
I just did this with my 96 2dr. I got LEDs from www.oznium.com, they come with a 5mm LED and resistor, not sure the voltage of the resistor, but it may be posted on the website. I only needed four for my car I guess you'll need a couple more. I'm guessing it is similar on all GAs, but anyway.
I got a few extra because I knew I would blow a couple and I was right. I got bluemydoor handle had two screws to take it off. Underneath after you snap off the lock switch and the window switch from underneath the door handle there's a little plug looking thing on each. After unplugging those, there's wires coming from underneath the plug. The wire that went to my interior lights was a skinny grey wire. The LED fit right in place of the old one and I kinda wrapped the shorter end of the LED around the prong that plugged into the place for the battery? I wasn't sure really what wires were what, but I just touched the litle metal terminals until I got the right combination. You should see what I mean when you take your car apart.
I twisted one end of the resistor to the longer end of the LED, stripped the grey wire a little bit and routed the resistor outside of the little plug setup because I don't think you can stuff the resistor in with the LED and plug everything back in ok.
I would post pics but I have no digital camera.
The driver side power window switch has a circuit board underneath and was not sure how to go about it so that's the only one I have to do still.
I know I just typed a book but I hope this comes in handy.
