View Full Version : Plastic around the gauges?

can anyone fill me on on how i can remove the plastic around the gauges so i can pain them? i took out the 2 screws but it doesnt seem to want to come out still, is there a clip or soemthing on the inside that im missing?

if your car is 99+, i think there are two on each side behind the steering wheel column. You have to take off the steering wheel column, or at least losen it to get to them.

how would i go about loosening the steering column?

all you have to do is remove the plastic piece on top of the column. just pop it up and pull it out. then you will see the 2 screws that hold the trim piece in.
if you need picks let me know!!! i have all the pieces out anyways!

There are screws under the steering wheel column. Take those out to loosen the column, then take the 2 screws out behind it holding the trim in place.

just got it out...damnit wish i would have known that earlier been tryin to figure it out for a day or two and all it took was an easy 5 min to get it off once i took the column off :mad:
