I'm thinking about buying some red, or blue bulbs for my tail lights, but not sure where I want to put then. Does anyone have a picture of a back of a 98 or similar GAGT that I could see the different bulbs. I was thinking in my hazards in the back, but I don't know if it shares a bulb with another light or not.

well considering the cover its self is orange and red and wwhite a bulb isnt going to make a color change to it, need to get the red off and make it clear.

Go with the reds. They will make the rear lights orange at the edges and red in the center. Sort of looks like evil snake eyes.

You can also buy one of each, install each and see what you like.

The hazard bulbs should be the same as the stop lights. Back up to a store front and work all the lights while you check the reflection in the glass.

GT's have clear lenses all around except for the taillights

just to let you know that the blubs for the brake lights are 3517. And the lights for the turn signal or hazards are 3156. It really ahrd to find some 3156 bulbs that are not clear. Good Luck though.

hmmm...okay. I'd love to have blue bulbs in them. I'll see what I can do.

Is it Legal to ahve blue bulbs in either the brake lights or the turn signals in Michigan? If so then I am going to have to get some, seeing as though I can find blue bulbs that are 3156 but not amber or red.

Is illegal as all getout in all 50 states to have any color other than red in the rear of your car. Colored bulbs in turn signals, ILLEGAL!Neon license plate frames, ILLEGAL! Well, anything other than red and yellow or something like that. I know what I'm talking about on this!
But I guess it depends on where you're at, too. Certain police departments get more serious about this than others. The town I work at, that's one of the top things they look for.

i put super white 3157 bulbs (APC) in my reverse lights (2000 GA SE) and it looks awesome. also put some super white 194 bulbs in the rear corner lights - also look awesome. all other lights are LED except the outer brake/tail bulbs for visibility on the sides. the turn signals are also LED, which have a crisp on/off as they flash, as opposed to regular bulbs which are slightly delayed. the bulbs ARE actually white, with no blue tint whatsoever. I'll try to get some pics...

That sucks. I really wanted some blue lights in the back. Oh well. If you could get some pictures of your car, front and back, in the night, that would be great.

my girlfriend got a HEFTY ticket for having blue turn signals. autozone told her they were legal, i knew they weren't but she wouldn't listen to me, just the automotive gurus at autozone (heavy sarcasm). she took the ticket up there and they got with the state police and the ticket was dropped. but it was still a major hassle. stick to red or amber. they're actually only colors that are legal. most cops don't mind green or white or really any color other than blue. they don't like red in the front either.

Well I must have found all the cops that DO mind colored bulb. I got 2 tickets on 2 different occasions for having green turn signal bulbs. Each ticket was $75. Oddly enough, even though I live in Chicago, I got the tickets in the burbs of Chicago. I guess they have nothing better to do. I mean c'mon there are people who dont have any working turn signals and you're gonna hassle me for having 2 functional signal that just happen to be "not standard equipment" Gimmie a break.

Yeah, I don't think it should matter, either. As long as they're turn signals, you know? I'm not big on the colored bulb, neons thing but I was with a friend who ran into a real d*&k cop who stood alongside while we disassembled his front turn signals to take out his blue lights just so the cop would let us drive off! He said he'd have it towed if we didn't! #@&^%!
