cold weather having trouble starting?

when i went to pull my car int he garage it barely turned over, its about 40 here i lived in az. but i do have an K&N air filter and it might of been oiled to much will that make a differnce, but i bought a new K&N and put it in can water get in the engine or oil from the over oiling.?? please help its a 2000 pontiac grand am se 3.4.

more than likely your battery. if you think you over oiled you k&n you must have really laid the oil to it. :lol: water can get sucked in, but doubtful. especially if you're still using your factory air intake. even with water in your fuel your car would still start, but it'd run like crap.
