Thinking about changing my exhaust again.

So far i have two Dynomax ST's that have 2"inlets and outlets and i'm thinking of getting the res. removed and have new piping from the cat to the mufflers. Do you think i will notice any differnece with this done or will it just make it a little louder? Also if i get the piping done any suggestions on what i should get done? Travis

I have 2 1/4, your top end may be a little better. It won't get much louder at all, especially with the Dymomax, that's what I have, good luck.:D

im in the same situation,im thinking about changing my exhaust for the 3rd time,but hey they always say,3rd times a charm.Im gonna go with 2.5inch piping instead of the 2 1/4 i have on now without the resonator.Id go dual but id have to buy a GT bumper then id have to buy the front as well so it doesn't look weird and non-matching body lines.

Ya, i think it would look wierd with just a rear GT bumper. :P I was thinking that i would get 2.5" or 2.25" from the cat. back to the mufflers, but i'm not sure if it will help any since my mufflers are 2". inlet and outlet. :???: Also i don't know how i should have the pipes run, any ideas? I dunno how many ways a place can run the piping,its usually only ran a certain way to fit,like mine,the piping is straight then curves to go over the rear axel then to my muffler.....Its deffly nice to have the resonator taken off,its just restriction,not to much noise muffling with it on,atleast with mine,the V6's might sound louder with out them.

As for the mufflers,if you want a WHOLE new exhaust get muffler(s) with a bigger inlet and outlet...MagnaFlow(which i have) and FlowMaster i know have bigger inlets and outlets on their mufflers,plus i think they give more hp then dynomax from the majority of people here.Im going 2.5 inch piping come spring,im done with modding my car,getting late in the year to be outside doing anything plus the golf course closes up soon so i won't have a job,gotta mooch off the parents,hehe.And yes i could get another job but i want to concentrate on my grades it being my senior year,gotta graduate.

I really don't want to get new mufflers since ijust had them put on a few months ago,so do you think it would be a good idea?
