I have a leak in my IM gasket so when I get the $work$ done I'm going to have them put in a new Upper & Lower IM.Whitch one's should I get RSM or Americam Performance of Colorado, is one better than the other? The APC ones cost $80 more than RSM.What are the benifits of a ported & polished IM?:burnout:

Just have your intake manifolds gasket matched at a local machine shop. You just want them ported not polished, that atomization shit. They flow well enough, but really just gasket matching is all that needs to be done, and port matching to the head.

APOC will take forever, and considering the price it's not worth getting from either place. It would just simply be easier to find a reputable shop locally to do it.

I've been hearing alot about having your local shop port the lower and upper intakes rather than buying them already port and polished, but let me tell you something, I've called several places where they actually do that here, and no one has quoted me less than 200 US dollars just to port the uper intake, some have even quoted me around 300. maybe it depends where you live, but if I ever decide to do that, I'm buying them from either APOC or Doctorspeed. Alot cheaper than having done here.
