was always curious as to what stuff like SC/T, STX, GTX, STE, GTZ ect meant?

SC/T means Super Charged Touring. It is the most over used abbreviation I've EVER seen.

You don't have an SC/T if you have a hood and spoiler. You have a Grand Am with the SC/T appearance package.

Get a blower, a hood and spoiler and a whole gaggle of other parts THEN you have an SC/T :)

The rest of them..... I think they're more or less made up stuff

edit: The ones ending in "x" from what I've seen are just people using vinyl decals to make their "own" trim level. You can get that kind of thing from places like grafxwerks.com
