thinking about buying a ga help plz

Im thinking of getting a 2001 ga 75th edition. besides being the 75th year for the Grand Am what are the differences? what should I be looking for to spot any problems with the 3400. it has 60,000 on it.

any advise would be great

Todd 99 to 01 mostly everything is the same but the lower intake manifold is a big issue with the 3400

should i make the dealer put it up on a rack?

Just look for oil that has leaked out usually on the right hand side of the engine or just right at the manifold.I am not too sure on this I just had mine replaced did not even know it was bad till I smelled oil.

nothing was under warrenty but it would be quite a bit due to labor if ya had to pay for it

just make sure you check the upper and lower manifolds once you get around 36000 miles, cuz the lowers leak, other then that there good.
