I'm looking for tires that will grip the road very well. I have right now nitto NT450's and they suck at traction on turns. Anyone know of any? BTW i have 17" rims.

Bridgestone Potenza RE050
Roughly $200 per tire, but I have yet to have these so much as chirp when going hard around corners.
As an example, I'm a member of VIR raceway (http://www.virclub.com/) and I went into the first left turn out of the north paddock area (on the north track, click the link) at about 65 mph average through the entire turn, top speed of 80 when entering and exiting the turn, and my tires never so much as chirped.
65 may not seem fast, but trust me, it's extremely fast in a GA on a track like VIR, the fact that I was able to enter and exit the turn at 0'ish also speaks loads for the tire.
One last thing, if you happen to look at the elevation of the map, you'll see that the turn is actually counterclockwise from the track patter, yes, so the opposite of a left turn in nascar, instead of banked, it's recessed. Take all of that into consideration when judging the tire.
Oh, and I happened to win that day (amateur event for club members) and my main competition was an S2000 with Kumho's, with major traction problems due to the tire, because I'm sure anyone can tell you that S2000's are major competitiors in auto-xing events, his tires just sucked, so I was lucky.
Moral of my winded reply: Bridgestone Potenza RE050's
