does anyone know if there's a short shifter available for the 98 grand am gt? does anyone make a type of universal one that would work? thanks

... seems to me there was someone you installed one of those lately ... I can't recall who though but I believe it was in a 03 :)

yah, i know there are some for the 99+. i've looked everywhere and can't seem to find one for the '98's.

there was a guy on www.j-body.org that was making short shifters for the isuzu tranny. I believe his name was farmerz24. You might go over there and ask. Other than that, none are available unless you wanna spend $400 for mantaparts.
