mufflers included ? resonators are a waste of money.

Ditch the resonators...otherwise, for mandrel bent, that a somewhat reasonable pricing.

i disgree,
i can get 2.5 inch madrel bent SS pipes from manifold back, with mufflers and twin pipes on the back for like 500 Canadian.
and again, you're wasting money on resonators.

The resonators are my mufflers. I want just straight pipes out of the rear of the car. So i put the resonators in place of my stock one and in place of my cat.
Why are resonators a waste of money?

do they do anything ? ... no. so what's the purpose of having them ? they have them from the factory to meet the emissions standards as a pre-cat or whatever reason they put them on. but if you're modifying your exhaust theres no reason to keep them OR ABSOLUTELY no reason to replace them. if you just run straight pipes - 1 - your gonna loose all back pressure and loose power, 2 - cops are going to harass you, 3- you're not going to pass emissions test if u have to.
if i were you i would maybe get rid of your cats, go with off-road pipe, get a good performance muffler and save money on SS pipes.
more power, less money and street legal ( except no cats ).

Resonators quiet down my exhaust so i wouldn't say they do nothing. I don't have to take emission tests so my cat is gone. Also i have never even been looked at by a cop for a loud exhaust, let alone stopped by one.

muffler or a cat would quite down your exhaust, not resonator. how is it possible that a hole through would quite down the exhaust ?

Actually a resonator is like a small muffler and is there so the manufacture can meet noise regulations.
It works simular to chambered exahust or a glass pack in a way. Doesn't quiet it, just uses a hollow chamber so sound pulses cancel each other helping to smooth and take the harsh rasp out of the exhaust before it reaches the muffler.
A pre-cat is well simply put, is a small catalytic convert. Besides a pre-cat would be before the catalytic converter and not after it. :)

If a resonator doesn't quiet exhaust down then why does my exhaust get alot louder when i take them off?
