Ok, I have a 96 GASE and there is only 1 outlet on the rear bumper for exhaust. So, here are my plans...let me know what you think.
1) Find a 96-98 gt bumper
2) remove the ribbing off my se bumper and put it on the gt bumper, so they match up with the rest of my car.
3) Head over to the shop and have them add a Y off and put another magnaflow on(I already have 1)
Now, how hard will it be to remove the ribbing off the se without hurting it...scratches at minimum, because I will probly re paint it. Also how much would it cost to get that rear bumper painted, unless I find someone that has a red gt bumper they want to sell me? And lastly, what kind of tips should I get....I am kind of wanting the single tips on each side, but not too big in diameter or else it would just look like a ricer. What size would you think would look best?? I can also do the dual tips on each side if it came to that....and is there that much of a sound difference with different tips?? If you can help me answer some of my questions that would be great...I think I will put my $500 that I have to this. I think I might need a little more than $500 if I have to paint it. Thanks for any help.

Well, the cost of painting is varies greatly...best to call 3-4 body shops. Is there a sound difference with different tips? Oh yes. I would say get nothing larger than 3" if you want to go with the rolled round tip. Thats what I have, sounds fine after the engine is warmed. The smaller you go the more "snap" you will hear in the exhaust, dig? :)

Thanks for the reply...now about the ribbing. Is it going to be hard to remove and replace the ribbing on the GT with the SE ribbing??

Personally, I would keep the GT ribbing and try to find the other parts to upgrade the rest of the car.

Do you think it will be noticable with GT ribbing on the rear and not anywhere else??

It will be noticible but not too bad. The ribbing doesn't just come off of the bumper, you would have to cut it off. the 96-98 gt has 2 lines that are slightly further apart than the SE, which has 3 lines closer together.

lol... no offense, buy a new car... that's a lot of work and unless you do a lot of it yourself then the price is gonna hurt... custom costs after all
