does the 96 ga 3.1 have a rev limiter on it i was on messing around one day and was doing 100 and as soon as i hit 105 my car all but died on me and i was only at abot 4k on the tach i assume there is, but is there in easy way to get rid of it???????????

Well, the car is speed limited I believe. The rev limiter in park or nuetral is 4000 in my car, maybe 4500. When you are in gear, its limited to about 5900 if you keep it in the specified gear.
And the only way to 'get rid' of it is to have the computer reprogrammed.

oh filth and foul i figured as much
the 1998 is limited at 115, I figured that out when i was chasing a yellow lambo that was doing at least 140.... ended up following him for about 15miles lol

after that i don't feel so bad the person driving the eclipsed just didn't want to chance more than 100 i guess

Where is a reliable, and relatively cheap place to get the chip reprogrammed?
