The muffler has great clearance... plenty of room if not more than stock.... i don't know if it turns heads because i'm blazin by people....
It's a catback with 2 1/2" piping.

IMO, the Magnaflow is better. It sounds much less raspy and a deeper more mellow sound than a Flowmaster especially on a V6. Personally, I have the Borla cat-back, and although it sounds really good and looks great, I still kick myself sometimes for how much it cost. I had a '98 4.0L Ranger with a Flowmaster 40-series and dual pipes and it sounded good, but the noise inside the cab was pretty loud. I can imagine it would be the same with a Flow 80-series on a GA as they are not much quieter. Contrary to what alot of people say (and I'm only basing this on personal opinion) keep the resonator or install a small round muffler (like a 4" magnaflow) in place of the resonator or your interior noise will be loud. Of course, I like a cool outside sound and rumble and a somewhat quiet interior, but like I said depends on what you like. Although the SLP and Borla cat-backs are great products, you could get a custom Magnaflow or Flowmaster setup put on at a local muffler shop for less $$ and the perfomance gains will be nearly the same. Also, avoid chain muffler/exhuast shops (such as Midas, Meineke, etc). Find a local privately owned shop and you will most likely save money and get higher quality work.

Exactly the point.... the Flowmaster sounds a lil too throaty/raspy, while thw Magnaflow has a nice rumble... but i wanted it kinda loud and supposedly magnaflows have better flow than Flowmasters... but the 80 series sounds REALLY loud and REALLY throaty, maybe too extreme... but i liek magnaflow sound, doesnt seem to be loud tho... i dunno... im goin to a place nearby that speciazlizies in car sound systems, exhuast, wheels, etc... so ill get prices and opninions on Magnaflow and Flowmaster 80 custom cat backs...

i have magnaflow and i love how deep my car sounds.. also with magnaflow you dont get that poping raspy noise when you get on the gas like with flowmasters
