I'm running a 2.5L tec 4 on a 91 Grand Am.

Just replaced the Plugs, plug leads, battery, oil and filter. She is running real rough in gear and, using gas like it's going out of fashion.

I'm thinking I need to replace the Oxygen sensor.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

C

I changed my O2 sensor and saw about a 70% jump in mileage. Went from 19 to 27 mpg.

I never calculated my gas mileage, but for a few months last year I had my TCS (torque converter sensor) unpluged gas mileage sucked almost as bad as my 4.0 Jeep. Now that the TCS replaced it gets a whole lot better mileage. With it being winter I don't really get to drivethe car that much so its kinda hard to calculate mileage.
