Alright guys...i have a question for ya'll. I bought a long Honda Civic CAI tube off of ebay that I was going to use to make my own CAI for my GA. I was going to cut it and use some nice colored couplings to make it a very nice install. The problem is, is that it is 2.5" in diameter. I'm afraid that is to small for my V6. I made the mistake of not asking the seller about the diameter. Am I stuck with a useless civic intake, or can I still use it?? Let me know guys, cause I'm selling the car anyways so i don't really care if it gets an intake or not. I hate being a compulsive spender...

I will see if I can find my SPARE throttle body later and measure it :)

Well when I bought the tube I stil had all the intentions of keeping the car. But the seller :argue: took a month to send out the intake. Grrrr....a lot can happen in a month.

Looks like I'm stuck with it. Does anyone know someone who needs a civic intake?

That is what I thought ... I found my spare throttle body but it is behind the car and I can't get to it :(

Is your spare TB for a 99+ GA? If it is will you be willing to sell it?

Yes, it is off my car as I bought a 'bored' throttle body ... but no, I would like to keep it as a 'spare' :)

Allows more air in the engine thus making more hp esp. when you have a CAI then you would be drawing in more cold air. A bigger TB would make about 5hp

Ok well I'm gonna sell the intake and couplings that I bought on ebay. Check the Classifieds for my listing. Thanks.
