I put a new O2 sensor in this weekend and flushed my radiator out cause it was bad. I also plugged my EGR, and I can say I actually can tell a difference. No code was thrown either. I thought after I flushed my water the heater would work, but dosn't if anyone has a problem with their heater or knows what is wrong with mine please let me know.

if your heater is blowing out cold air when its supposed to be warm or hot air.... try replacing the thermostat and see what happens
if it works you've fixed the problem and if not you could need a new heater core which is located inside the dash of our cars and can be a major pain in the !!! so try the thermostat and new gasket
tell us what you find out

I have tried two new thermostats, didnt help, what if i try to just flush the heater core itself, will that work.

never tried flushing the core by itself but i think it can be done
but if that doesn't help you'll need a new heater core
did the heat work before you did the flush and fill?
other wise call a couple automotive places around your town or whatever and see what they say about it

the heat has never worked since i have had the car, but i will try to flush it.
You may need a new heater core. If it is the origianal one then it wouldn't hurt to get a new. I had this problem last winter with mine. You can get the heater core from autozone for $20. But the down side is, if you can do it your self you will be ok. But if not have some money to hand over.

the new o2 sensor is probably why you gained some performance. As far as the heater core, just clamp and remove the two lines going to it, and try reversesing the flow with a garden hose. Be careful thought, some ashpole bean counter deciced plastic was better than aluminum, for the tubes to the core. They are very brittle and will crack leaking antifreeze into the car. If the core is blocked you will need to replcae it. Its a tough job, and the blood sure runs to your head when your upside down under the center console replacing it, but it is getting very cold out, so you might want to do it soon. This is assuming it blows cold air out, and the fan is working properly.
