Installation went smooth, though it was a b*tch getting the couplers on the Pro-M unit. Got everthing installed and let the computer reset for about an hour by pulling the PCM fuse. The engine started alright and I didn't get any codes but the idle sounded a little rough. I let the car warm up for five minutes and took it out for a test drive. Around town I think I gained a bit of torque but not a whole lot. WOT the car feels a little stronger and pulls a little harder than before and the shifts were pretty firm. When I got home and parked the car, the idle dropped to about 600 RPM but it fluxuated. The needle wouldn't stop moving +/- 100 RPM. I could also feel it inside the car. Anyone know what that's about?
Overall, it's my guess that the computer needs to re-teach itself before I'll see any good gains.
My biggest concern is that, although I'm not throwing codes, the idle is not normal and i'm not seeing gains like everyone else has been.
Any opinions?
