Those SSRs are on my short-list, mainly because of their light weight.

Why what you have in mind jason?
See that isn't my final decesion just my best so far.
I'm still open for suggestions man. So hit me. I thought the weight might be a factor. I am really lookin for a more beefy and stronger rim with the same look. I really like the six spoke. I also want them dark. I am honestly wanting too hit the track with this car. Without sponsorship its me all the way.
I know it was a while back but remeber one of my first posts ever. It was asking about what i could do to my engine. That was extreme for performance. I am still as serious now as i was that day. So hit me up. I'm tired of being the underdog here. :P

oh really?
Hmm.. that doesn't seem to good  What next huh?
I'm not 100% sure if thats true but few people have told me they have had some problems with them. I never owned them, wanted to but after hearing that I didnt buy them. ask more around, see if anyone says anything more about them. thats all I can tell you.

My intention is to use them, along with some decent DOT-approved racing tires, for competition purposes, because of the low-weight. Reducing unsprung weight will improve the steering response and feel.
Also, for every pound you can drop at the wheels, it's like removing three pounds from the body/chassis.

Well why did you say it was on your short list. I am getting DOT approved performance racing tires too.

When I said short-list, I meant that it was one of a couple of choices I've decided to research - it's a good thing.
