Engine Swaps

Ok. 60' .com or whatever has a swap guide for several compatible drop ins for the 96-98 gagt. I noticed one of them was a 2000 Chevy Impala. So, I was wondering would the SS version of that engine fit in and if so, whats the hp/tq differences in it. Thanks.

what? Impala has a 3.8L. You can drop that in there...but have fun with the electrical and mounting.

But if your talking about the 3.4L...its a easy swap .

cool, 3.4...I think thats about 180hp/205tq....3.8 is 200 or something and 220+tq...sounds real nice...
