ditto... i decided that the most economical way for me to get up there is to fly... i got to thinking about it and talking it out with jason... and it just makes more sense.
also, there is a possibility that my dad might make me trade Angel in... so if that is the case, then there is no way in hell he would let me take the 04 to canada/albany. we are having a huge fight about that right now thou... he doesnt understand why any girl would want to fix up a car.... but then again, my dad has no clue about cars peroid.
i need to get a date pretty soon thou... b/c i need to book my flight :D

Wow June? I havn't been eeping up with this section too much... but why June instead of July/Augest?

Either way, that is really cool.... only thing is, even if I take drivers ed, my birthday isn't until July 1st, so I still can't [legally] drive after 9 :( oh well, if it was anythign like last years....it will be a whole bunch of fun :D

ramairgt1
01-05-2004, 03:01 PM
You can legally drive after 9 if a licensed driver 18+ is with you, dont worry we will take care of that

June 11th is good for me
I'll be there but i dont know what I'll be driving

Alright! Atlanta, GA to Albany, NY . . 998.76 miles in 15Hrs and 59 minutes @ an average speed of 62.5 MPH! (According to MapQuest) HA! I'll atleast average 75 as long as I can dodge traffic. That turns my trip into 13Hrs and 19minutes. Still a long drive. Ya'll should arrange some kind of interactive telecast or stream it on the internet.

hehe... i'll have to see what greg, jason, and i r up to. we might be thou. our plans arent quite worked out yet.
in response to everyone's drive times... i wish i could drive Angel, but it really isnt financailly feisable at this point. it is a 21 hour drive which i would have to break down into 2 days, paying for hotel overnight and all the gas about equals out, if not more, to a roundtrip plane ticket. :slant:

We are working on getting the date solid as soon as we can varify with the park that our site is avalible.

This date was picked because at the meet last year people asked for it to be sooner due to alot of students returning to school and some people's work schedules.

I work in the Pharmacy but the BIG problem is our department manager is out on maternity leave until mid/late May so it's a touchy time but if I put in tomorrow and give them the "I rarely ask for time off you should give it to me" speach I should be alright since I work every stinking weekend w/o asking for any off for 17 mos now.

I want to go so bad. Even though its a 1100 mile trip I want to put some miles on my car I only have 7,150 miles I store my car for the winter so its saving me a lot of miles which I can put extra in during the summer months. Any of you Wisconsin peeps want to hop a ride with me let me know. I would love to meet new people. I have been to the Milwaukee and Madison meets last summer and I have had an blast.

Stacy:)
