Strut or Bushing?

When I go over bumps, I hear a noise from the front passenger wheel. Almost like its loose. I brought it to a mechanic near my job, and he said its a control arm bushing thats shot, and that it isnt dangerous, just annoying. I know I need new struts in the front. Could the noise be a broken strut?

i would say bushings too, i think thats a problem with GAs. there are good replacements there called poloyth----- something. sorry cant remember the name

polyurethane, yes, eventually, I want all of my bushings switched over to poly
