hey guys,

I'm hitting the 30,000-mile mark (at 28, 597 right now) soon and was wondering what maintenance items I need to take care of. I own a 2002 GT that was purchased in June of 2002 and I religiously change the oil every 3k miles or whenever the oil change light comes on, whichever comes first. I also rotate my tires at every 10k miles.

I had a fuel filter change at 15k miles.

I mostly drive to and from work (25 miles on freeway, each way) and around town.

The car's manual doesn't really have a very detailed maintenance schedule.

Change the PCV valve and air filter if they need it. I change my fuel filters about once every year, so you might want to get that done again too. Although the manual says 50,000 miles to an automatic trans fluid change, I would suggest doing it a little early just to be on the safe side, but you shouldn't need that just yet. Sometime soon (every 2 years or so) it would be a good idea to get the cooling system flushed and new anti-freeze/water put in.
