I think my stock fog lamp relay isn't working right. Here's the problem...
Most of the time, when the lamps are supposed to go on, they do. About half the time, I can hear the relay click, but the lamps do not go on and the LED in the switch does not light. Until now they would work if I toggled the stock switch a few times. Keep in mind, the relay clicks when it should.
Things to know, I have a set of Hella 2500 fogs (angel eyes). The aftermarket relay is powered by one of the stock lamps. A bulb must be in the other stock fog harness or the aftermarket relay will stay powered. If the aftermarket relay is disconnected, the LED on the stock fog switch stays lit. The stock relay clicks as it should.
This problem did not arise until I installed the angel eyes.
Is this a problem with the stock relay? If so, how do I replace it, it seems to be attached to the fuse board (I didn't want to pull on it too much)
Someone please help because my fogs don't work anymore.
