engine problems

hi i am having a problem withe my car whenever i start to accelerate all i can hear is a loud rattleing sound or a ticking sound could that mean i need to get my motor timed again and i also put in a new crate motor from gm and i was also going to install either a turbo or a supercharger please help me thanks alot

start to accelerte... so instead of moving the car just makes a loud rattleing sound, who put in the crate motor?

supreme brakes and performance in rockland MA did the engine install. The rattling only happens when i am moving it doesnt do it when i am at a stand still or idleing.
