sound system question

now i am not an electrical guy, but i just got 2 12" Kicker CVR's and an 800w Rockford Fosgate amp...question is, can i hook it up to my stock stereo, or would i have to get a new head unit? oh i have an 02' GA

You can get an adaptor that "steals" signal from your rear speakers and turns that into RCAs. Then just hook up the RCAs like normal. Although this idea works I still suggest getting an aftermarket deck. Peace, Lee

You'll get better quality sound if you did hook your amp up to an aftermarket deck, but you can definatey still have your factory deck with an amp/sub combo. Some amps have whats called high level inputs. This is usually terminals for speaker wire to tap onto you rear speaker leads and serve as your RCA's when using a factory headunit.
