help lease 18x8 ???

help please.. 18x8 ???
okay so wheelmax is selling some rims i like

they come in 18x7 and 18x8. I really want to get the 18x8 but when i measure the gap i have on my rear tires to the strut, ther is very little.

So i was woundering what does the offset have to be?

i dont see why 18x8s wont fit cause u can put 18x7.5s on a 92-98 grandam, and ur stock tires are wider but the off set i dont know u might want to go more outward, i'm sure the person that u buy the rims off of would know this

offset I is in the area of 40 mm.

if you put air struts on the back you might get more room for the wider wheel/tire,I say might, cus I have only seen them in photos like in hot rod mag they built up a caviler and they used air struts front and rear

the rear strut looks like it at least 1 1/2 slimer cus the large metal thing that holds your coil spring is gone

yeah but where would i get the air struts. I havent seen them for sale for our cars. that i what i want to get but I havent seen them :(
