We just put some money down on a four cylinder Grand Am yesterday. Afterwards I read some negative safety reports. Does anyone have any input on this? Feel free to e-mail me at rcw02@insightbb.com

Thanks

Just realize that the trade-in value of your car will be like 60% about a year or two from now :(

Just curious, where can you get the aftermarket hoods that come on the Ram Air GrandAms and my son showed me the SLP stripe kit. Does anyone have pics of that on their cars. Mine 04 is the maroon color. Thanks

GMPartsDirect .com you can buy it from there.. I think that's the website.. or go to a dealer and buy it.. or by luck and buy a used one..

As far as your concerns with safety I was in a pretty severe front/passengers side accident in my car a few months after purchasing it and was not injured at all. I also had a friend who was in an accident in his 99 and also wasnt injured. But SonicTron bring up a good point my car was 21K now a year and a half later with 24,000 miles im looking at a trade in value of 10,000$ best case most have been around 8-9,000$
