This may sound so silly, but with everybody praising Zaino, I am wanting to give it a try. My silly problem is I don't not know where to get it and what to ask for. I've seen several different bottles of
Zaino a long time ago and I'm not sure if I should get the Clearcoat polish or what.
Thanks all and sorry about sucha dumb question.

To buy it, check out http://www.zainobros.com

What you need really depends on your car. You will need Z1 for sure (Polish Lok). You only need to apply this once/year.

Then you will either need Z2 or Z5. Which you use is up to you. If you have swirls marks, go with Z5.

As well, Z6 (Spray) is great and is reccommended for between coats of Zaino.

I use Z1, Z2, Z5 and Z6. :) Check out their website, they have a lot of great info.

DITTO!!!! I was skeptical at first and even though the shine may be equal to other waxes/polishes, the ease of application is SECOND TO NONE!!!!

Definitely what the others have said. The Z2 is for clearcoat finishes. I use ZFX instead of Z1. It really does make applying multiple coats much easier. Just remember not to put on more than 3 coats total of Z2 and/or Z5 in a 24-hour period if they are ZFX-enabled. The claybar (Z18) works well, but I've been told by a Zaino rep that other claybars are pretty similar. I also use Z7 (carwash) and Z16 (tire protectant).

And don't forget the correct towels--White, 100% US Cotton and remove the labels and seams. I got a bunch of them here: http://fieldcrestcannonoutlet.site.yahoo.net/chartow1stqu.html. Sure, they're irregular, but the cotton quality is still the same.

Sal has always been very helpful with questions and usually responds quickly either by phone or email. So don't hesitate to contact him. His customer service is great!

:offtopic: When I called the Fieldcrest-Cannon outlet early last year to place my order for a bunch of bath towels, the older, Martha Stewart-type woman I talked to asked me why I needed so many towels since not many men really care about quality towels. Before I could answer, she said, "Wait, let me guess, you're probably one of those car guys who needs these for that Zaino stuff I've been hearing about." She cracked me up. :D Apparently lots of Zaino users buy Fieldcrest-Cannon towels!

I shot the sales guy at Zainobros.com a pretty detailed question about how the stuff works, and he sent back a lengthy E-mail within an hour that answered all my questions. They are more than happy to help.
