I have a question about the ADR Fuel rims...

I'm wanting to buy my g/f some 19" rims for her J-body and these ADR rims have the right specs..

ADR Fuel 19" 5x100 +42mm offset.

I found some on ebay and it had a link that would check to see if the rim would fit and it said it would not fit either my GA or her Sunfire...

WTD??? 5x100 bolt pattern is right and +42 mm offset is close -- 3mm off from my +45 offset on my 18" Konigs... So what could be the problem????

I feel like just saying "they don't know what the hell they are talking about" -- and just buying them...

So if there is any help I would appreiciate it...

Here's the ADR site to check out the specs...

Not sure on a jbody but the higher the offset the closer to the suspension work.My 01 i had enkeis that were 42mm and they looked close to the suspension. But if your using 45mm I really dont think the site is uptodate.I would go for it myself.

Have you seen 19's on a Jbody because I think they are too large.
The stock 205/55R16 over all diameter is about 23.9"s. The smallest 19" tire I could find is a 215/35R19 with a diameter or 25"s

I put my 18 inch rims on my girls car and it has 235/40 rubber and it works just fine -- the rear has so so so much more room to go.. But I was going to put a 225/35/19 or a 235/35/19 tire.

Prolly not the 235/35/19 -- that may be too wide -- but a 225/35 or 225/30 if there is any????

BTW -- I'm not going for the performance of it -- I know that 17' rims would be best for that -- But I want to be different and so does she... We both want to be on 19's --- But when I get mine first -- she will be rolling around on my 18" rims...:P

I would stick as close to the stock diameter as you can so the speedo, ABS, and ETS if it has it isn't effected.

Just becareful driving around on 19"s with a low profile tire wrapped around it. :)

But I know my speedo is about 2 or 3 miles off from 60mph...
But I don't mind too much --- less miles added up...:P
